Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has sparked reactions online after presenting his Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) plaque to his wife, Adebimpe Oyebade, in a viral video making rounds on social media. According to reports, the emotional moment happened shortly after his movie Lisabi won the Best Indigenous Movie (West Africa) category at the 2026 AMVCA.
The actor, while receiving the award during the ceremony held in Lagos, dedicated the win to his wife, who recently welcomed their children.
“To the woman who just gave me my kings, this award is dedicated to her,” Lateef said during his acceptance speech.
According to Kemi Filani, a now-viral clip captured the moment the actor lovingly handed the award plaque to Mo Bimpe backstage, while those around them cheered loudly.
