Papaya Ex Police Assault Claim Shocks Lagos

📍 Social media influencer Papaya Ex says she was physically assaulted by a Nigerian police officer during a midnight stop-and-search in the Ajah area of Lagos, claiming the officer struck her face with a gun, assaulted her driver, and forcefully seized her phone.

🧑‍✈️ The Nigeria Police Force pushes back, saying she refused a routine check, resisted officers, and tried to evade them — calling it a misunderstanding gone viral.
