Nigerian skit maker and streamer Carter Efe has received the ₦50 million cash reward promised after defeating controversial singer Portable in their celebrity boxing match, according to reports making rounds online on Wednesday.
The development comes days after Carter Efe defeated Portable during the highly talked-about celebrity fight held in Lagos, a match that sparked massive reactions across Nigerian social media platforms.

According to Kemi Filani, businessman and socialite Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, was seen in a viral video presenting the comedian with bundles of cash.
In the clip circulating on X and Instagram, Carter Efe appeared excited while those around him cheered loudly as the money was handed over.
“He really meant it,” one voice was heard saying in the trending video.

The boxing match between Carter Efe and Portable has remained one of the biggest entertainment conversations online this week. Following the fight, Portable accused organisers of foul play and later demanded another match.
