Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has left fans stunned after revealing the shocking amount he allegedly spent on weed between 2020 and 2026, while speaking about his journey to quit smoking.
In a now-viral video making rounds online, the “Oleku” crooner said he spent over ₦340 million buying weed from one dealer alone within six years.
According to him, that figure doesn’t even include other suppliers he patronised in places like Abuja, Jos and Ghana.
The rapper made the revelation while opening up about how difficult it was for him to stop smoking after years of addiction and heavy use.
“From 2020 to 2026, I have spent over ₦340 million on weed from one dealer alone,” Ice Prince said in the clip.
The confession quickly triggered reactions across Nigerian social media, with many people shocked at the amount, while others praised the rapper for being honest about his struggles.
Meanwhile, Ice Prince recently shared that quitting smoking, alcohol and other unhealthy habits completely changed his life. In a post on X, the rapper described himself as “unchained and saved” after staying away from cigarettes and alcohol for months.
Earlier in 2025, the rapper had also admitted during a podcast appearance that he wished he never learned how to roll cannabis because it made smoking too easy for him.
