Veteran Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has stirred reactions online after speaking openly about his crashed marriage to May Edochie, saying he does not mind being painted as the “villain” in the story. The actor made the statement in a trending video now circulating across social media platforms.
According to a report by Kemi Filani, the actor also wished May well despite the controversy that has followed their separation since he unveiled actress Judy Austin as his second wife.
Speaking in the viral clip, Yul said:
“I don’t mind being the villain in this story.”
The statement has since triggered heavy debate in the Nigerian celebrity news space, with many Nigerians sharing mixed reactions across X, Instagram and Facebook.
The actor, who has remained one of the most talked-about figures in recent Nollywood news, also appeared to call for peace while reflecting on the backlash that followed his marriage saga. According to him, he wishes May happiness and success moving forward.
