Nigerian singer Portable has accused organisers of foul play after losing a celebrity boxing match to Carter Efe, a development that has sparked heated reactions online within the last few hours.
According to a report by Kemi Filani, Portable claimed he was emotionally distracted during the match because his wife was allegedly in the labour room while the event was taking place.
The controversial singer, who has been trending heavily across X, Instagram and TikTok since the fight ended, also demanded N200 million compensation from the organisers, alleging that the match was unfairly handled.
Speaking in a viral video shared online shortly after the bout, Portable expressed frustration over the outcome.
“My wife was in the labour room while I was fighting,” he said.
He further accused the organisers of setting him up and insisted that certain conditions surrounding the match were suspicious.

According to the report, the celebrity boxing event had already generated major buzz online due to the long-running exchanges between both entertainers before the fight. Fans of both camps flooded social media immediately after Carter Efe was declared winner.
Meanwhile, reactions have continued to trail the incident, with many Nigerians debating whether Portable was genuinely treated unfairly or simply making excuses after the defeat.
As at the time of filing this report, organisers of the event had yet to officially respond to Portable’s N200 million demand or his allegations of foul play.
