Pa James says Wale Adenuga played a major role in his career, praising the veteran producer for giving him the opportunity that made him widely known through the classic comedy series Papa Ajasco and Company.

Speaking in a recent interview, the Nollywood actor said working with Adenuga boosted his popularity far beyond his earlier roles in Yoruba movies.
Pa James said:
“Wale Adenuga has been good to me. Working with him gave me popularity,”

According to reports, Pa James, whose real name is Kayode Olasehinde Ajirebi, gained fame playing the comic character in the iconic TV show that dominated Nigerian screens in the late 1990s and early 2000s.His remarks come amid renewed public interest in the Papa Ajasco cast after several actors from the series recently opened up about their experiences and struggles in Nollywood.
