PDP candidate Johnny Aikpitanyi says armed vigilantes overran his Edo-Ovia by-election polling unit, blocking voters and causing chaos.
He condemned the “assault on democracy” and called on President Tinubu to act. Graphic videos of thugs in uniform swinging at voters have Nigerians up in arms.
Johnny Aikpitanyi said:
“How can you see more than 150 vigilantes holding guns in a polling unit? It doesn’t make sense.”
