Popular Nigerian socialite and businessman Cubana Chief Priest has sparked reactions online after releasing a studio clip shortly after losing the APC House of Representatives primary election in Imo State. According to reports making rounds within the last few hours, the celebrity barman appeared to address critics through music.
The socialite, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, recently contested for the APC ticket for Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency but lost during the party primaries. The development quickly became one of the top viral celebrity stories dominating Nigerian social media conversations.

Earlier, reports from APC primaries showed that Cubana Chief Priest failed to secure enough support to clinch the party ticket.
In reaction to the loss, some supporters encouraged him not to give up on politics, while others mocked his short-lived political ambition. A political aide, Ossai Ovie Success, also condemned people ridiculing him online, saying there was nothing wrong with trying and failing.
