Afrobeats star Asake has finally addressed rumours of tension between him and his former label boss Olamide, insisting there is no bad blood between them despite online claims.

According to him, the relationship remains solid and the rumours mostly came from outside voices comparing his journey to that of controversial singer Portable, who previously accused Olamide of favouritism.
“No be Portable wey dey ungrateful,” — Asake said while addressing rumours about Olamide.
The singer stressed that people misread situations in the music industry and that growth or independence does not mean disrespect. The clarification comes after repeated online debates about whether the YBNL boss and his former signee had fallen out.
“Till the end of time, Baddo will always remain Baddo. I respect Olamide Baddo a lot. Even if I become the President of America Baddo will always remain Baddo to me.”
