Leaders of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) are set to meet in Abuja on Sunday to discuss the withdrawal of Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso from the organization. These nations confirmed their exit 11 months ago, and their one-year withdrawal term per ECOWAS rules will conclude next January. Last week, Nigerian President and ECOWAS Chair Bola Tinubu expressed to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier that the concerns of Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger remain critical for ECOWAS. Tinubu aims to use diplomatic methods to reintegrate these countries and ensure peace in the Sahel region.

There needs for the ecowas to call them back if not for anything but for the security of the region
These three nations have disengaged ECOWAS and they’re doing fine. In fact, they are progressing.
I don’t think any meeting in Abuja will make them reconsider their decision
