Paystack introduces payment feature to tap Opay’s 40m customers

Paystack has unveiled a new feature, “Pay with Opay, aiming to tap into Opay’s 40 million users. Shared on its X handle, the fintech giant highlighted this integration with Paystack Checkout, enhancing the number of payment channels for merchants in Nigeria (source). Merchants can now easily accept payments from OPay users. To enable this, customers need to adjust settings on the Paystack Dashboard. Payments can be processed via the OPay app or web. Transactions show as ‘Certpay’ or ‘Merchant consumption’ based on the platform used. With Nigerian fintech booming, ease and efficiency in payment methods become essential.
