Shooting Stars clinched their first South West derby win of the season by defeating Sunshine Stars 1-0 in Ikenne on Saturday night. Otakho Aghahowa scored his first goal of the campaign in the 28th minute, securing the victory for Shooting Stars. Despite losing their first two derby games against Ikorodu City and Remo Stars, the Oluyole Warriors have now achieved consecutive wins for the first time this season. Meanwhile, Sunshine Stars find themselves struggling, with just one draw and two defeats in their last three games.
