Gwamnan Kebbi, Nasir Idris, has inaugurated four High Court judges and two Senior Khadis in Birnin Kebbi. The ceremony, held on Friday, was attended by state officials. The new judges include Hassan Kwaido, Halima Umar Ibrahim, Lauratu Jagwadeji Suru, and Muhammad Nurudeen. New Khadis named were Kabiru Aliyu, SAN, and Atiku Muhammad Bello. Source

Governor Idris expressed pride in officiating the induction and praised the Ministry of Justice for its dedication to ensuring the judiciary’s effectiveness. He also announced a commitment of N300 million for the provision of operational vehicles for the judges. The governor urged the newly appointed officials to uphold judicial standards.

  1. the justice arm is a very important arm in any society, a sane society must have laws which they are to adhere or uphold, so i tjink the appointments of the right judges helps maintain sanity in our communities
