Rivers State Governor, Siminialayi Fubara, has addressed rumors about his administration’s finances, emphasizing there has been no unnecessary borrowing. The only funds leveraged were a ₦200 billion loan for the critical Ring Road project. During the recent launch of the 11.8km Okehi-Umuola-Eberi Link Road—connecting Etche and Omuma areas—Fubara encouraged skeptics to check facts with the Debt Management Office (DMO). He proudly shared that the state has fulfilled its obligation to pay the new minimum wage to civil servants, despite challenges from detractors. Fubara remains dedicated to improving Rivers State for its residents.
